Giving is a foundational principle in the Bible that reflects the heart of God and our trust in Him. Scripture teaches that giving is not just an obligation but an act of worship and gratitude. In 2 Corinthians 9:7, Paul writes, “Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”  Generosity demonstrates our faith that God is our provider and that everything we have belongs to Him (Psalm 24:1). When we give—whether our time, resources, or finances—we participate in God’s mission, care for others in need, and grow in spiritual maturity. Giving transforms both the giver and the receiver, fostering a spirit of unity, love, and dependence on God.
