Membership Info

Through faith in Jesus, we become Christians.  As Christians, we are God’s children.  As such, we are called by God to join a local church family for connection, fellowship and encouragement.  As a church, we have the privilege to worship Jesus together, serve in his kingdom, be his children, do life together, and share God’s love with others.  As a church, we care for each other, pray for each other, encourage each other, and share with others the hope of Jesus.

Committing yourself to be a member of RiverTown Church lets you know who we are, what we believe, where we’re going, and how you can be a part of it.  It essentially means that you are a partner with us in our effort to share the love of God with our community and world. It also allows you to join the family of RiverTown, and to call RiverTown your spiritual home.

A person becomes a member at RiverTown through a simple three-step process:  Connect, Covenant, and Conversation.  Connect is our Membership Class.  This is the first step in the process.  At the membership class, a potential member is handed a copy of the membership covenant.  Signing this covenant is the second step in joining RiverTown.  The final step is a membership interview, that we simply call a “Conversation”.  During this conversation, we will simply chat and dialogue with you about how you became a Christian and what being a member at RiverTown is all about.  We will also answer any questions you may have about our church.

To find out more about RiverTown, click on the Membership FAQ link at the bottom of the page.  To begin the membership process, email us at membership@rivertown.com or click on the link at the bottom of this page to the online membership application.  You can find a copy of our Membership Covenant by clicking on the link at the bottom of the page.
