Matt Bush has been involved in vocational ministry since he was 18 years old.  God placed that calling on him during his first year of college, and he has been thankful to God for that ever since.  In 2002 Matt moved to Jacksonville for the first time and that is where he met his wife, Jessica.  Jessica is as involved in his ministry as he is, and it is such a blessing to have a partner in ministering for Jesus Christ.  

Matt graduated from Georgia Tech in 2001 with a degree in Management (Go Jackets) and is currently working on a Master of Divinity from New Orleans Theological Seminary. Matt grew up in a town called LaGrange, GA (if you have heard of it, let him know because not many people have).  He has lived in Jacksonville for about 6 years.  

God called Matt to RiverTown Church in the spring of 2009 as the youth and children's pastor.  He has loved working with youth since he began in ministry and considers it an honor that God would entrust him with this special ministry.  Over the last 3 years, his position has changed to include a host of other roles, all of which he believes are used to glorify God.  Matt is so thankful to God that he brought him to a church like RiverTown, and he knows that God has special things in store for this ministry.
