Jesus Christ is the first step on your faith journey.  Placing your faith and trust in Him as your Savior is the way to begin a relationship with God.  This is where it all begins.  It is also how it continues.  He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).

We are rescued, saved and set free from sin by faith alone.  Works in no way add to or contribute to our salvation.  The righteousness and perfection of Jesus Christ given to those who trust and believe in Him is the sole grounds and hope for us to be accepted by God.  In this way and this way only can we be declared perfect, righteous and holy.  

People are saved by Christ's work and not their own.  Man's good works are the result of salvation; they don't in any way earn or achieve salvation.

Jesus Christ, the God-man, is the only mediator between God and man.  Therefore, He is the only way through which people are saved.  He is the Way, the Truth and the Life.  No one comes to God the Father except through Him.  And yet all are invited to come through Him.

A Christian's salvation rests solely on God's grace working for us and in us.  God's grace is His love and salvation given to those who because of their sin deserve His wrath and damnation.  Salvation is a gift and work of God, who by His Son Jesus Christ, and through His Holy Spirit, elects, calls, regenerates, converts, justi?es, indwells, adopts, sancti?es, and ultimately glori?es believers.  We as believers in Jesus can have full confidence in our eternal security.
