Baptism is a public profession of your faith in Jesus Christ. It's "going public" with your commitment to be a Christ-follower. It's essentially telling the world that you believe in Jesus as your Leader and as your Savior. It’s the next step after your decision to follow Jesus Christ.

Baptism does not make you a Christian.  Jesus does, as you place your faith in Him.  We become Christians by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus alone.  However, Baptism is the next step after becoming a Christian by faith.  People often have questions regarding baptism: Why should I be baptized? I’ve already been baptized. Do I have to do it again? Does it matter if someone is sprinkled or dunked?
